Guest Editors

We had 6 guest readers visit with Ilene (college advisor) and myself. Students worked in small groups and read aloud their personal statements. Everyone was given feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Monday's class is the last day to use computers in class to complete personal statements. Final drafts are due next Wednesday.

Exhibition prep

Seniors are getting ready to participate in the Moving Voices exhibition (Dec. 17). They will turn their personal statements into a monologue to use in their arts classes.

SAT Essay Prep

Most seniors are taking the SAT on Saturday, November 7th. This week will be used to become familiar with the rubric, grade some student samples, and practice a times essay with peer-evaluation.
